Welcome to littlenook.ca, operated by Little Nook (“Little Nook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Site, our products, and services. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our [Privacy Policy].

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be the age of majority in your province/territory (or have parental consent) to make purchases. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Products, Availability & Accuracy

We strive to display product information (specs, colors, availability, pricing) accurately, but do not warrant that such information is error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors, change or discontinue products, and limit quantities at any time without notice.

4. Orders & Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy the products listed in your cart. We may accept or reject any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, suspected fraud, pricing or description errors. An order confirmation email acknowledges that we received your order; acceptance occurs only when we ship the items.

5. Pricing, Currency, Taxes & Duties

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted. Applicable GST/HST/QST/PST will be calculated at checkout based on the shipping address. If we offer shipping outside Canada, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.

6. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (e.g., credit/debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple/Google Pay, etc.). By submitting payment, you represent you are authorized to use the selected method and authorize us to charge the total order amount.

7. Shipping, Risk of Loss & Delivery

• Free shipping threshold: orders $99+ CAD to eligible Canadian addresses (after discounts, before tax).

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied. Unless stated otherwise on a product page or during checkout:

• Return window: 14 days from the date of delivery.
• Condition: items must be unused, in original packaging with all tags/accessories.
• Non-returnable items: [gift cards, final-sale items, customized items, used/opened consumables or where hygiene/safety prohibits resale].
• Process: contact us at support@littlenook.ca with your order number to obtain return instructions.
• Fees: unless the return is due to our error or a defect, return shipping is your responsibility; we may deduct original shipping costs and [any restocking fee if applicable] from refunds.

9. Defects, Shortages & Damages

Inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within [2–5 business days] if any item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Provide photos of the packaging and products to help us investigate with the carrier or manufacturer.

10. Safety, Use & Local Regulations

Fishing tackle contains sharp hooks and small parts. Keep out of reach of children and handle with care. You are responsible for complying with local fishing regulations (seasons, size/slot limits, barbless rules, etc.). Little Nook is not responsible for misuse of products.

11. Promotions, Bundles & Gift Cards

Promotions are subject to terms posted at the time of the offer and cannot be combined unless expressly stated. Gift cards are not reloadable, not redeemable for cash (except as required by law), and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

12. User Content & Reviews

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant Little Nook a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Site and our marketing, in any media, with or without attribution, subject to our Privacy Policy. You represent you own or control the rights to your User Content and it does not infringe any third-party rights.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) violate any law; (b) engage in fraud, scraping, or security breaches; (c) interfere with the Site’s operation; (d) use automated means without permission; (e) resell or exploit the Site or content except as expressly permitted.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, photos, logos, product names, and code—is owned by or licensed to Little Nook and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

15. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and the third party.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly provided by a manufacturer’s written warranty accompanying a product, the Site and all products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties; these disclaimers may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Little Nook and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits/revenue/data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue. Some provinces do not allow certain limitations; these may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Nook from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site or products.

19. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario (city: [Toronto]) for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.
Quebec consumers: To the extent required by law, certain provisions (e.g., governing law, limitations) may not apply and your statutory rights remain unaffected.
