The SG Smallmouth Bass “Respect Color” is a limited-run throwback to one of Megabass’ most legendary finishes. First created for the original POP-X in the mid-90s, this color was designed to match smallmouth bass in clear and tea-stained water, pairing with GG Bass as its largemouth sister color. Instead of loud flash, SG Smallmouth Bass uses a translucent brown-gold body and subtle pearl highlight to blend into the water and trigger bites from pressured fish. It shines in northern lakes with tannin-stained “black” water, rocky shorelines and clear, deep smallmouth spots where fish have seen every common pattern.
