Daiwa Deka Pokokuro – Soft Body Topwater Crawler

The Daiwa Deka Pokokuro is the larger version of the original Pokokuro, combining the surface disturbance of a winged crawler with the quieter landing of a soft-bodied frog-style lure.

Its enlarged body increases buoyancy and surface presence, making it suitable for targeting larger bass around shallow flats, weed edges, laydowns and other high-percentage cover.

Responsive Aluminum Wings

The Deka Pokokuro uses lightweight aluminum wings that begin moving quickly once the retrieve starts. The wings create a steady crawling action, surface vibration and a distinctive water-grabbing sound without requiring a fast retrieve.

A slow, consistent retrieve is the primary presentation. The lure can be worked at a dead-slow pace while maintaining its side-to-side crawling action, helping it remain in productive areas longer.

Quiet Soft-Body Landing

Unlike conventional hard-bodied crawler baits, the Deka Pokokuro features a flexible outer body that reduces the impact sound when it lands.
